Lynda and Lasse Baldauf call Connecticut their home and it is the base of operations for their company, Three Bluebirds. Lasse grew up in Finland using Swedish dishcloths. These absorbent, reusable cloths were an everyday part of the sustainable Finnish lifestyle. Lynda and Lasse started importing the special fabric from Europe, hoping to "inspire more earth-friendly lifestyles" in the States. Lasse adds his whimsical illustrations, which are often inspired by nature, his first love. Swedish dishcloths are made of cellulose and cotton, use water based inks, and are printed in Connecticut.
